About the event
The Global Ukrainian Summit 2026 is a high-level international forum held in Bern, Switzerland on June 5-7, 2026. It brings together leaders of Ukrainian communities worldwide, political leaders and international partners to discuss Ukraine's security, reconstruction and global advocacy.
An event site is a deceptively demanding format. It has a hard deadline that cannot move, a lifespan measured in months, and a traffic curve that is almost flat until it spikes on announcement days and again in the final week before the event. It also has to satisfy two audiences with nothing in common: a delegate who needs a schedule and a payment link, and a foreign ministry official deciding whether this is a serious forum.
What we did
We designed and built the official summit website: the central hub for information, registration and the programme, in multiple languages.
- About the summit and its discussion topics, written to carry institutional weight for readers deciding whether to attend or to send someone.
- 60+ speaker profiles, the main proof of seriousness for an event of this kind and the heaviest content structure on the site.
- A multi-day programme schedule covering June 5-7, built to survive the reordering that happens continuously right up to the event.
- Registration and payment information as a first-class path rather than a buried link.
- Media gallery, partners and venue information, including what a delegate travelling to Bern actually needs.
- A bilingual build (Ukrainian and English) running in parallel, since the delegate base is split between Ukrainian-speaking community leaders and international partners.
- A responsive, performance-focused implementation, because a large share of visits happen on phones during the event itself.
Engineering notes
- Content changes until the last hour. Speakers confirm and cancel, sessions move rooms. The programme and speaker structures are built for the organisers to edit, not for a developer to redeploy.
- Both languages are primary. Neither Ukrainian nor English is a translation layer on top of the other; both are maintained as first-class versions.
- Spike tolerance. Announcement days and the week before the summit carry most of the year's traffic, so the site is built static and fast rather than dynamic and clever.
The result
A polished, credible online presence for a flagship international event, built to handle a global audience and to represent the Ukrainian World Congress at the highest level.
